Hello ladies. Exciting news here at Polestars HQ... we have a Polestars Cheerleading class scheduled for this month, so make sure you get in contact quick sharp if you are keen for some pom-pom action. This month's hot topics are:
POLESTARS CHEERLEADING: SHAKE THOSE POM-POMS
Polestars are looking into offering cheerleading lessons in the future. We are still in the beginning stages of this and cheerleading will not be launching until next year at the earliest. However we do have a trial class scheduled for Wednesday 26th November in Shoreditch, London 7-9pm. We are selling places on this 2 hour cheerleading trail session for £10 per person. POLESTARS TEACHER TEMPEST ROSE IN STAGE SHOW BURLESQUE-ESQUE
Looking for a good night out? Polestars recommends getting yourself down to the New Players Theatre for the 7 week run of Burlesque-esque.
Burlesque-esque is a theatrical extravaganza featuring live music from our resident acclaimed jazz trio The Anthony Strong Band; a melange of song, dance, comedy and burlesque from sell out troupe The Kitten Club. Plus there are star guest performances each night which include Lucy Porter, Richard Herring, Danny John-Jules, Scott Capurro and Arthur Smith just to name a few. Each Saturday night, things are spiced up a little with exclusive late editions featuring stars from the world of burlesque, such as Roxy Velvet and Gwendoline Lamour.
We are especially excited about Burlesque-esque because it features a Polestars teacher. For those lucky students who have had classes with Tempest Rose, you now have the chance to see her in action! So this Saturday, why not take a trip down to The Arches and be wowed by the feline ways of our very own Tempest Rose!

2009 TIMETABLE IS UP!
Dates for the beginning of 2009 tasters and courses are now up on the Polestars Timteable page, so check them out!
Polestars are changing their timetable system so that tasters and courses for the whole year will be set in advance. This means that, for example, if you can't make the New Year pole dancing course, then you can book straight onto the Spring pole dancing course. Most cities will have 3 courses per year, however extra classes will be scheduled if there is demand for it. Dates of Spring courses will be on the Polestars website within the next 2 months.
NEW TEACHERS
We would like to welcome our new teachers to the Polestars team. We have Gayle in Glasgow, Katy S in Brighton, Katy J in Bristol, Rose in London and Lucy and Francesca in Manchester. Hello and welcome!
NEWCASTLE & READING CAN-CAN LAUNCH
Our fabulous can-can classes are coming to everyone in Newcastle and Reading. Be prepared for some knicker flashing high kicking fun in Newcastle on Wednesday 26th November @ Centurion and on Wednesday 28th January 2009 in Reading! Both tasters have a fantastic 2 for 1 offer - that means it will be £20 for 2 people and 2 hours of can-caning! Bargin! We will also provide you with our fabulous can-can skirts for the class, but just don't forget your big knickers!
