What do you love most about dancing: It keeps me fit in a much more interesting way than the gym ever will!
Why did you started teaching dance: I wanted to push my own abilities further, and I found this was an ideal way to do it.  My own dancing and confidence has improved so much since I have been teaching.
Why you love teaching at Polestars: I am able to teach a variety of dancing styles to a variety of people, which makes it a very interesting and fun job.

Best teaching moment: Helping people to get upside down on a pole for the first time is great.
Most embarrassing pole moment: I was sliding off the floor and flicked my hair back in a suitably sexy manner. Unfortunately, I head-butted the floor while I was doing it.  Everybody was treated to a lovely thud and I walked around with a bruise in the middle of my forehead for a week.
Whats the best thing about teaching can-can: I love cancan because it is so loud, energetic, lively and fun. Teaching it is great because everyone gets involved to really let their hair down. Its also a great workout!
Fave food: Treacle sponge & custard
Celebrity crush: Robbie Williams, Will Smith. Yum yum.
Hobbies other than dancing: I am currently learning to hula which is great.  Aside from that, most of my spare time is spent with my 2 children.

Why you love teaching at Polestars: I really enjoy inspiring others to dance and learn and really like to give my love of dance, knowledge and sense of fun to everybody.
Fave song to dance to: For Burlesque 'Too' by Lady Marmalade & 'Candyman'by Bad Girls.........like its the bad manners version of can can!Also my favourite Belly dance song is 'Desert Fish'(an upbeat trance arabic song) & 'The Belly and the Beat' by Turbo Tabla(also a very good fusion album).
Fave food: Ommlettes and pizza All innocent drinks and the organic veg pots too!
Fave films: Highlander, From Dusk Til Dawn, Blade, Carry on Screaming plus films like Dirty Dancing, Grease and Footloose.
Most embarrassing teaching moment: As I was getting my shoe stuck in my fishnet tights i had to make it look like i was sexily rubbing my leg and try and kick it off. It did eventually come off and headed straight for a man who luckily caught it for me. I stuck my foot out and slipped it in the shoe like cinderella! When footwear comes off before sometimes it can get a little dangerous!My teachers tip is don't wear velvet or slippery gloves when doing floorwork. Trying too push yourself up off the floor with these on can prove difficult, as they slipp and you land flat on your face! thump!lol And doing a cat dance and pulling my tail off by mistake- yanking it too hard! lol

Why you started teaching: I started teaching because it combines my favourite interests; pole dancing, health and exercise.
The best thing about teaching with Polestars: I love teaching with polestars as it gives me the opportunity to get to know lots of new people and watch them improve, grow in confidence and overcome their own fears or anxieties whilst learning a new form of exercise.
Different day job: I am currently studying Sport and Exercise Science at Nottingham Trent Uni.

Most embarrassing incident while pole dancing: So far none thank god.
Best teaching moment: Any moment where someone has either achieved a personal goal no matter how big or small or overcome a certain fear or anxiety. I think that's the best feeling any teacher can have, to watch someone improve.
